Menstruation is still a taboo topic in Ghana, and many women lack access to proper menstrual hygiene management facilities. Additionally, the traditional menstrual products used by women have negative effects on the environment.

Fortunately, there are initiatives in Ghana aimed at promoting menstrual health and environmental sustainability. These initiatives seek to educate women about eco-friendly menstrual products and provide them with access to these products.

For instance, some organizations in Ghana distribute reusable menstrual products such as cloth pads and menstrual cups to women in rural areas, where access to menstrual products and proper hygiene facilities are limited.

By promoting eco-friendly menstruation, we can improve menstrual health and protect our environment. It is essential to continue these initiatives and encourage women in Ghana to switch to sustainable menstrual products.
