It is crucial to break this taboo and promote the use of eco-friendly menstrual products in Ghana. We need to educate women about the benefits of using these products and the harm caused by traditional menstrual products to the environment.
Moreover, we must encourage men to be part of this conversation and support the use of sustainable menstrual products. Men can advocate for their wives, sisters, and daughters to make the switch to eco-friendly menstrual products and help break the stigma associated with menstruation.
By working together, we can promote the use of eco-friendly menstrual products in Ghana and protect our environment while improving menstrual health for women.
