Driving Change: KCF Invitational Golf Tournament Tees Off with Triumph!

Khadija Cares Foundation (KCF) swung into action at the inaugural KCF Invitational Golf Tournament, held at the prestigious Achimota Golf Club in Accra on Saturday, May 18, 2024. With the sun rising over the greens, 88 dedicated golfers took to the course, passionately driving our mission with every precise stroke and putt.

The day was more than just golf; it was a celebration of community, empowerment, and impact. Following the tournament, a vibrant reception and lunch welcomed supporters, sponsors, and guests. Excitement filled the air as the Seal Dancers from Nigeria brought rhythmic energy, complemented by Cina Soul’s soulful melodies resonating across the green.

Throughout the event, captivating videos showcased our year-long journey, highlighting our unwavering commitment to menstrual health and sustainability. These powerful visuals illuminated the impact of our work, inspiring all in attendance.

Eight inspiring girls, sponsored by KCF through our partnership with the Fafali Organisation, participated in the tournament. They symbolized the transformative impact of KCF’s sustainable menstrual products, capturing hearts with their enthusiasm and embodying the mission’s importance in their lives and communities.

The highlight of the day was a triumphant fundraiser, raising an impressive 169,060.40 Ghana cedis. This achievement marks a significant eagle for KCF, empowering us to expand our initiatives and continue supporting communities in need.
